Why Choose NLP to study?

Why Choose NLP is such a great question to answer –

I can offer many ‘reasons’ to ‘why’. If we had asked ‘For what purpose should I choose nlp to study?’ it would have been a little more difficult. You see the simple use of some clever language can change the whole meaning of a statement, question or an answer.

Let’s say for example I say to you “Don’t think of a blue tree…!”, you have to think of a blue tree before you ‘don’t think of a blue tree’. I know this because NLP has taught me how the unconscious mind works. I don’t want you to think of what suren kolkankar NLP trainings can do for you – the answer is obvious. As well as help you understand your own mind, both conscious and unconscious – you can also understand others too. I also don’t want you to think about all of those negative aspects of studying with anyone else – I mean, there’s no point is there…

NLP will enable you to unlock that potential you have been desperate to get at – after all, we all are… It will change the way you think and understand the world forever. Those times when the glass was half empty will not matter anymore – you will be able to just drink the damn stuff and be done with it.

After studying NLP you will be able to influence and negotiate with colleagues and clients, communicate effectively with yourself and with others, calibrate and read from people without a spoken word, motivate yourself and influence your unconscious mind so that you can take control of your life if you haven’t already and of course help others to do the same. The reasons ‘why’ list is endless. As for the purpose, attend suren kolkankar nlp  training and we will ask you that question at the end.

NLP and Hypnotherapy

So, I will mind read and say that you must be curious to know how those few, select individuals in the world can be so much more successful at what they do than the many? Success is of course a label, it means something different to each one of us, whether achieved by playing a game of chess, achieving a swimming medal, or being the CEO of a major corporation, success is measured by the individual on how well they have done. Success in one particular subject may be of high favor to one, while another might prefer something completely different. This is where the studies of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, NLP and Hypnotherapy come into play.

NLP, or Neuro-Linguistic Programming, is a study of how we structure our thinking, our language, our programming, respond  to the world around us, and experience every situation we encounter, as well as how we communicate what we know to others and indeed ourselves. NLP creates and uses models of success from many of the most successful minds and geniuses in the world.  It has allowed us to “map out” how the few think, act and communicate while comparing and contrasting it to the many. By doing so, methods and techniques have been developed to change the thinking process as well as the behaviors of those who practice.

For example,

let’s say that you have an underlying phobia of spiders and you have no idea where it came from. For as long as you can remember, the mere thought of a spider makes you cringe, or maybe even scream. Why, then, is it that there are those few individuals who have a pet tarantula that they take out of its tank and play with on a daily basis? This is how the models are created, by getting deep into the unconscious (or subconcious) minds of those select few and finding out how their mind works regarding spiders so that the many with the phobia can be helped.

NLP allows us to ‘try on’ a number of “presuppositions“. Much like affirmations, they are simple, positive reinforcements that focus on the basics of Neuro-Linguistic Programming, such as communication and the thinking process. “There is no such thing as failure-only feedback” is one such useful presupposition.  Believing in failure can be damaging, rather than learning from the feedback of projects that don’t work out.  If we take the feedback, we know what not to do next time round.

Another presupposition of NLP is that all humans have within them the power to heal and avoid, or combat sickness and disease. NLP allows us to tap into this portion of our unconscious minds – the part of our mind that takes care of us and looks after functions such as breathing, movement etc.  Imagine how difficult it would be to consciously breathe all day and all night whilst trying to do everything else that we do.

Hypnotherapy also allows us to access our unconscious minds and is exceptionally useful for helping us to stop smoking, get over a traumatic event, enable us to feel motivated or confident for example.  Modern day Hypnotherapy can be relayed through storytelling and/or symbolism to help you communicate with your unconscious mind, allowing different, powerful options to come and go freely. By tapping into your own imagination, you will be able to utilise your positive strengths to get past where you are, ending up where you want to be.

Both NLP and Hypnotherapy are yielding positive outcomes for many when they are used Separately, and even greater results when practiced concurrently

What is NLP [Neuro-Linguistic Programming] ?

What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)?

the study of subjective structure

NLP  is defined as the study of the structure of subjective experience and what can be calculated from that and is predicated upon the belief that all behaviour has structure. People such as Virginia Satir, Milton Erickson and Fritz Perls had amazing results with their clients. They were some of the people who’s linguistic and behavioral patterns Richard Bandler built formal models of. He then applied these models to his work.

Because these models are formal they also allow for prediction and calculation. Patterns that may not have been available in any of these people’s work could be calculated from the formal representations he had created. New techniques and models were (and still are being) developed.

Since the models that constitute NLP describe how the human brain functions they are used in order to teach them. NLP is not a diagnostic tool. It can only be applied and can therefore only be taught experientially.

Well trained Neuro-Linguistic Programmers will always teach by installation, not by teaching technique after technique. Techniques outdate themselves too quickly to base the field of NLP on a set of techniques. It is based upon the attitude, the models and the skills which allow for constant generation of new techniques which are more effective and work faster.

 NLP Courses by others providers.

Although many providers make certain courses prerequisite to the attendance of other courses, Suren kolkankar has no such prerequisites for any of his seminars. Learning does not come in levels. Once the underlying pattern, by which something can be learned, has been taught, the material becomes not only easily accessible but a logical extension. For example, once somebody has learned how to read it no longer matters whether a book is five pages or two-hundred pages long. Similarly, once someone has been taught the spelling strategy it does not matter whether the word is two or five letters long, you just have to look at the picture. Each seminar is based upon different sets of knowledge. Therefore it is not necessary to do them in any specific order.

Each seminar that  Suren kolkankar teaches is different. Once someone has attended one practitioner course it does not mean that the practitioner material has been learned and that person should therefore go to a different course. You have to remember that the names and certificates are only names and certificates neither the material nor the knowledge!

why was Neuro-Linguistic Programming “NLP” created ?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming was specifically created in order to allow us to do magic by creating new ways of understanding how verbal and non-verbal communication affect the human brain. As such it presents us all with the opportunity to not only communicate better with others, but also learn how to gain more control over what we considered to be automatic functions of our own neurology.

Improve Your Health

Improve Your Health Using NLP

AN EFFECTIVE TOOL TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH & FITNESS

NLP is one of the most powerful tools for improving health, losing weight, and changing a habit that is available today!  While there are many people who say they can teach you how to lose weight through NLP, in order for it to truly stick you need to understand what NLP is and how it can help.

Through a number of powerful and permanent shifts in your thoughts and beliefs you will begin to behave differently. Often times without even trying.  You will notice it is easier, if not even unconscious, to make healthy choices.

If we are creating ourselves all the time, then it is never too late to begin creating the bodies we want instead of the ones we mistakenly assume we are stuck with.

CHANGE THE WAY YOU THINK ABOUT HEALTH

change_the_way_you_think_about_health

You may also have heard about NLP when dealing with other, often very serious, health issues. There are a number of applications for NLP when addressing health. You need only do a brief search online to read stories of people who have found great success from NLP when nothing else seemed to work.

While I caution anyone about reading and believing these stories, there are absolutely very real and very important of applications when addressing health issues. It is a phenomenal complementary modality when dealing with your health.

Types of NLP Metaprograms

In the last blog, we learnt about NLP Metaprograms. Here, we will explore the different types of Metaprograms in NLP that will prove beneficial to you in the long run. So, are you ready?

While I can’t put forward all the different types of NLP Metaprograms out there in NLP, here are a few mentioned below:

  • Towards and Away From.   Some people prefer to move towards pleasure, while others prefer to move away from pain.
  • Options and Procedures.  Some people like to make up things as they go along, while others prefer a routine.
  • In-Time and Thru-Time.    Some people prefer to be “in the moment” and fully engaged, while others are planning their next moves and future.
  • Internal Frame of Reference and External Frame of Reference.  Some people prefer judgments based on their own frame of reference, while others prefer to make judgments based on other people’s frame of reference.
  • Self and Others.   Some people are more self-centered while others are more other directed.
  • Detail and Global. Some people prefer the details, while others prefer a map of the bigger picture.
  • Feeling and Thinking.  Some people prefer to feel their way through things and rely on intuition, while others prefer to think their way through things.
  • Sameness and Difference.  Some people easily see how things are the same, while others more easily see how things are different.

When you’re selling a product

If you’re selling a product, you can promote in two ways, by what it does or by what it doesn’t do. You can sell by stressing that they’re fast, sleek, comfortable or you can emphasize that they don’t use much gas, don’t cost much to maintain and are particularly safe in crashes. The strategy you should use depends entirely upon the strategy of the person you’re dealing with.

Ask someone else how he knows when he’s done a good job.

For some people, the proof comes from the outside. The boss pats you on the back and says your work was great. You get a raise. You win a big award. Your work is noticed and applauded by your peers. When you get that sort of external approval, you know your work is good. That’s an external frame of reference.  For others, the proof comes from inside. They ‘just know inside’ when they’ve done well.

Working Style

Everyone has his own strategy for work. Some people are not happy unless they’re independent. They have great difficulty working closely with other people and can’t work well under a great deal of supervision. They have to run their own show. Others function best as a part of a group. We call their strategy a cooperative one. They want to share responsibility for any task they take on. Still others have a proximity strategy, which is somewhere in between. They prefer to work with other people while maintaining a sole responsibility for a task. They’re in charge but not alone.

By understanding this pattern, you can figure out where your most enjoyable work environments would be.

If you ever give a compliment and it seems like somebody doesn’t believe you, it might be because they are using an internal frame of reference.  You also can check this in yourself.  For example, do you put more stock in how you rate your performance or do you look to feedback from others? Think about it.

Over to you

I have shared few of the NLP Metaprograms with you. What do you think? By reading up on these different types of NLP Metaprograms, you can understand how you can deal with people around you or at work more effectively and efficiently. We cover more on these in our NLP programs. Have a look at our upcoming programs or  submit your queries here. And let me know how you would like to use NLP to live life better.

nlp-parents

NLP for Parents

Struggles of being a new parent solved by NLP for parents

Every parent dreams to be an ideal parent for their child. Becoming a parent changes your life completely. Not only are you responsible for taking care of your child, but guiding and educating them through life as well.

Being a parent is certainly not an easy task. Every parent struggles at one point or another, whether it is with communicating with their child or making the right decision for their family.

There is no fool-proof advice to be the perfect parent, but there are things that you can do, starting today, to feel more confident and bring out the confidence in your children.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming – NLP – is a method of behaviour modification thought up in the 1970’ s and is in practice nearly everywhere today. You can use the very basics of it to really sharpen your parenting skills.

It will help bring out the best in you and the best in your children. Many parents benefit from Neuro linguistic programming as it helps them to gain a greater perspective on their role as a parent. It can likewise enable them to win trust in their abilities as a parent by teaching them to take past mistakes and work them into positive results.

Finally, Neuro linguistic programming (NLP for Parents) can also benefit parents by educating them how to identify what their child needs in the form of communication. Once they have mastered this, they should find that their children are much more responsive to their communications, as they understand exactly what is required of them.

Learning NLP eases the difficulties which are so frequently felt in parent-child relationships, especially as they grow older and develop their own individual personality. With the tools of NLP for Parents,  will have the ability to help their children become successful individuals in life.

Honestly, everything you know about parenting is probably what was passed down from experience with your own parents. Your children will also use you as their parental model, so you want to make sure you put your best foot forward most days. They don’t need to see you as perfect, since no one is.

phobias nlp

How to Overcome Phobias with NLP

Most of us go through life encountering fears. Some people avoid it but it keeps popping up occasionally. Some people face it and live a fearless life. Some people dominate the fear and for some, fear dominates them. It becomes even worse when we stack those fears and live a fearful life, being cautious and fearful every moment of our life.

What creates the problem is the phobia of the fear, not the fear. There is a little difference between a fear and a phobia, and it’s very important to know the difference.

What is a Phobia?

A fear is an emotional response to a real or perceived threat. It is a reaction to danger that involves both the mind and the body. On the other hand, a phobia is an intense, excessive and unreasaonable fear, where the fear is far out of proportion to the actual danger, or harm, that is possible.

So, let’s say you see a snake infront of you – you get frightened and want to protect yourself by staying away from it. That’s fear. But the person with a phobia of snake will freak out even just by looking at the picture of a snake, or a real snake at a distance. That’s phobia.
If you belong to the latter category, the reason you freak out or become scared is because the brain does not think in words, it sees pictures and when you have a phobia of any thing, the picture is horrible and you create that picture. You actually respond to the picture you have created, not the thing.

Let’s look at some common phobias:

1. Acrophobia → Fear of heights
2. Achluophobia → Fear of darkness
3. Agliophobia → Fear of pain
4. Arachnophobia → Fear of spiders
5. Aviophobia → Fear of flying
6. Dentophobia → Fear of dentists
7. Dromophobia → Fear of crossing streets
8. Hydrophobia → Fear of water
9. Necrophobia → Fear of death
10. Phasmophobia → Fear of ghosts
11. Epistemophobia → Fear of knowledge
12. Euphobia → Fear of hearing good news

for more common phobias visit

When Franklin Roosevelt said, The only thing we have to fear is the fear itself, he was describing phobophobia, the fear of being afraid.

How does it work?

Our sympathetic nervous system produces a hormone called adrenaline when we face danger. This excess adrenaline prepares us to fight or take flight in the face of physical threat. This fight or flight response includes an increase in heart rate and blood flow to our large muscles, better enabling us to react to the emergency. It also increases our blood sugar. Now because phobias are a programmed response in the mind, they can be effectively dealt with NLP.

The fast phobia cure method is an quick process to overcome your phobias. It doesn’t delete or remove any phobic memories, rather it alters them so that they don’t cause you the emotional turmoil that they once did.

Associating into our memories causes us to re-experience the emotions. On the other hand, dissociating from the memories usually removes the emotion of that memory.

The  NLP phobia  cure process works on the power of double dissociation, which is the key behind this amazing process.

We teach and do the live demonstrations at our practitioner program. Sign up for a NLP Practitionar Program to see for yourself.

Just imagine how your life would be if you unleashed your potential by getting rid of what is holding you back.

So are you ready to overcome your phobias now?

master of your life

You are the master of your life

Each and every person on this planet, irrespective of whether he is rich or poor, healthy or weak, successful or unsuccessful has to go through the process of life. The major misconception most of the people have is that rich, healthy and successful people do not go through the bad stages or struggle of life. We forget that after all we all are human beings and the fact is, we are alive because of our problems.we are the master of your life

The major difference between the achievers and the ones who complain is that the achievers do not react, rather they respond when the situations are odd. They focus on the better choices which life always renders to them.

Today, we can travel the moon and arrive safely back to our planet. We can talk to anybody in any part of the world through the effective use of electronic media. These achievements were once seen as impossible. There were a few people like us who made it possible. They too had a choice to quit, but they stuck on their goals and achieved it. You too have the same seed inside you. You can make your life bitter or better. You always have this choice. No matter what the situation is you can always overcome it as you are the director of your own life.
You are destined to live a greater and fulfilling life. Astonish yourself and others with your wonders. Yes, you can!!!You are the master of your life.
